An RGB profile is three channel profile that represents points in the RGB Color-space. Monitor profiles, scanner profiles, camera profiles and Color-Spaces (Adobe RGB, ColorMatch RGB, etc.) are all RGB profiles. Although printers are by their nature CMYK devices, typically manufacturers printer drivers use RGB profiles. Epson and Canon ink jet printers are an example of a manufacturers printer driver that utilizes an RGB profile.
