Main Window Toolbar Items

At the top of the main window is the toolbar. The toolbar contains many (but not all) of the popular features within ImageNest. There are several customizations that can be performed on the toolbar. Control-clicking within the toolbar will show a menu of options that can be performed on the toolbar. These include choices of icon and text, icon only and text only. You can also specify a large or smaller size. Lastly you can choose to customize the toolbar to add, remove or reposition items to better fit your style of work.

Here are descriptions on each of the default toolbar items:

Pages: Toggles the opening and closing of a Pages display. Thumbnails of each page are shown in the drawer. Clicking on a page will display that page and its contents in the main window.

Add Images: Displays an open dialog where you can specify an image (or images) to open within ImageNest. Includes auto-sizing features that maintain aspect ratio.

Refit Images: Re-nests all images across all pages using the multiple images settings.

Print: Prints the current layout to the currently chosen printer.

Delete All: Deletes all images from the layout.

Duplicate: Will duplicate a specified number of copies of any image.

Edit Image: Brings up the scale, crop, and crop to size dialog

Info: Displays image Info including meta data

Delete: Removes the currently-selected item from the main window.

Zoom: Zooms in to the layout window, Zooms out from the layout window, Adjusts the zoom level of the main window such that it will be visible in its entirety within the main window and Changes the zoom level of the main window such that the rulers are shown at full scale (i.e. 1 inch equals 1 inch).

Rotate/Flip: Will rotate an image 90 degrees clockwise or 90 degrees counterclockwise and will flop an image horizontally or vertically.

Image Overlap: Will bring to front or send to back any images that overlap in the layout.

Customize: Allows for the customization of the toolbar. Icons can be re-sized, dragged on, and dragged off the toolbar.
