Fit to Size Sizing Option
Fit to Size: When using the “Fit to Size” feature, files will automatically have their aspect ratio maintained and if they do not fit into the size/aspect ratio in the “Fit to Size” dialog, they will be scaled to as close to the selected size as possible while maintaining aspect ratio. The file will not be cropped in any way.
The bellow example gives you a visual reference. The 8 x 10, when re-sized to 5 by 7 does not fit perfectly since the aspect ratios are different. Without skewing the image, the "Resize to Fit" function will create an Image that fits into a 5 x 7 space as largely as possible but due to the different aspect ratios it will never fit perfectly. In the below example, the grey area beneath the text "Fit to Size 5 x 7" is the extra area in a 5 x 7 aspect ration that is not filled by the image.

Final Size 5 by 6.5 (since an 8 by 10 picture can not be perfectly fit into 5 by 7)
