In addition to the auto resizing/scaling features that are available in the layout controls, Images can be individually scaled to a user specified size. All original data is saved by ImageNest so if an image is scaled down it still contains all the pixels of the original.
The same dialog that is used for scaling is also used for cropping and cropping to size.
The crop to size option allows user to type in a specific size and and when a crop box is drawn it will scale all contents to the specified size. In this example, 3 inches by 3 inches is the specified size and no matter where the box is moved or how much of the image the box is sized to contained, it will always be scaled to 3 by 3.
