The ImageNest Photo RIP is natively programmed as a Universal Binary application and is programmed 100% in Objective C (Cocoa). Mac OSX is moving to being 100% Objective C so we will be ready for new operating systems as Apple introduces them. Currently ImageNest is capable of being compiled as a 64 bit application but we are currently only compiling as a 32-bit OSX RIP since no print drivers from Epson, Canon, or HP are capable of accepting print jobs from 64 bit applications. As new 64 bit print drivers become available (non are available yet) we will make a 64 bit version available immediately. 64 bit will not only improve memory usage and speed but will improve Image Layout time.
